Those on the IRC Server Freenode may notice hat my spelling is a bit, how to say it? OK I'll admit it. I'm dyslexically lazy. I say "On the 8th day God said, Let there be spelling checkers." and for that I'm grateful.

Alright then. On with my very first ever blog...

I've really been looking forward to this meeting for a couple of weeks. for two reasons really:

(1) I'm really new with Linux. I feel a bit like a lost child when I come across an issue. This is a way to get in with a group of people that know Linux and Ubuntu. While it not exactly my Flavor of Ubuntu, I figured Ubuntu Studio is close enough to count. I guess I'm not all that wrong.

(2) To join a group of people that share something in common with my self in even a small way. Then get out of the house and forget my job title is Mr. Mom of all things.

So that's it. First blog from a Linux Newbie. Hope to enter more over time.
