Christer Edwards will present on ssh, tunneling and basic network encryption.

Tonites presentations showed some cool features concerning the 'find' and 'locate' command line tools. These tools were presented by Clint Savage (herlo).

Kevin Kubasik also presented on advanced indexing tools such as 'beagle' and 'tracker' (tracker now being the default tool in Ubuntu 7.10).

Team - due to popular demand we're going to hold another meeting this
weekend and everyone is invited. This weeks meeting topic will be on
effective searching tools, with topics covered such as find, locate,
beagle and tracker. I think it'd be useful for everyone and, as
usual, the regular tech support and fun will be available.

Ubuntu Utah will be participating in the Utah Open Source Multi-Distro Release party. We'll have a pile of Ubuntu 7.10 printed CDs available. You can come claim your case badges, or volunteer them to attendees. We'll also help anyone upgrade, install or otherwise troubleshoot their machine.
